After drooling over the DB10 featured in Spectre, we're excited to finally be reading news about the new DB11, which unlike Bond's car will actually be available to the public. The car is due to be revealed at the Geneva Motor show in march, and a 30-second teaser video just released by Aston Martin has hinted that it will feature an all-new 600bhp, 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine. This is because the film shows a new engine bearing the legends  ‘V12', ‘5.2' and ‘twin turbo', sending critics into a frenzy of speculation.

Even at our most cynical moments we have to admit that the speculation around this engine being one of the most powerful engines that marque has ever produced seems pretty likely. It's also clear that Aston Martin have worked hard to ensure the engine still sounds as good as the naturally aspirated version - watch the video if you don't believe us.

Other details of the car are hard to come by. What we do know, however, is that it's going to look a lot different than previous versions, thanks to something CEO Andy Palmer told Auto Express last year: "We have the issue with some people saying the cars all look alike – that's solved in the next generation of cars."

In our view, March and the Geneva Motor Show can't come too soon - we simply can't wait to see what this new Aston Martin DB11 actually looks like!
