Get your Aston Martin V8 Vantage Blades Edition before it’s too late

Ever heard of The Blades, Britain’s acrobatic aircraft display team that is comprised of former RAF pilots and members of the Red Arrows?
Well, the Cambridge Aston Martin dealership is so in love with the team that they are commissioning five commemorative Aston Martin Vantage cars from the marque’s fabled ‘Q’ Divison.
Marking Aston’s relationship with the Blades team, each one of the V8 Vantage S blades edition cars comes with a unique badge that links it directly to one of the team’s aircraft. Although there are no mechanical changes, leaving the car with its 4.7 naturally aspirated V8 engine and rear wheel drive, there are many aesthetic alterations.
Orange detailing has been placed on the grille and door mirrors, while the roof has been painted black. There are also carbon fibre air vents and a new front splitter on the outside, as well as a Blades logo and Union Flag badging on the inside.
The real highlight, however, is what comes with the package. Each of the five owners will get a unique experience when they pick up their car from Blades’ headquarters in at Sywell Aerodrome in Northampton. Before they take it home, they will not only benefit from taking it for a spin around the track with a professional driver, but they will also have an opportunity to fly with the ex-Red Arrows pilots as part of the display team.
The crazy thing about this is that the V8 Vantage S Blades Edition is only £9,250 more than the standard Vantage S price. A huge package of extras and an extremely limited edition commemorative Aston Martin? We think that may be the bargain of the year!
