The Independent has recently published some additional photographs of the recent Pebble Beach Concours where the Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Roadster was launched.
In them, you can admire the car’s most striking feature – its lack of a roof. The bright blue display model instantly demonstrates the differences between this £350,000 limited edition car – available in just 50 units – and the hardtop Superveloce Coupe. The Roadster has a retractable roof is made from carbon fibre, which means that the car’s overall weight is just 1575kg. It is partly for this reason that the Roadster can match its Superveloce sister and do 0-62MPH in just 2.9 seconds, before heading up to a top speed of 217MPH. Don’t forget that Superveloce cars are tuned for speed, so both versions are designed to outstrip the normal Aventador models on the track.
