At Sport Car Hire London we like to keep abreast of the latest car news, and at the moment there is a lot for the big car Marques to shout about.
Bentley
We have already reported about Bentley’s gorgeous all-new Bentley Continental GT. Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors described this as a ‘defining moment’ in Bentley’s journey. With an enhanced version of the 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine this luxury grand tourer can achieve 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 207 mph! With a striking exterior, sumptuous interior and technological improvements Bentley has kept the modern luxury driver in mind when designing and creating the all-new Continental GT. Making heads turn at the Franfurt Motor show, onlookers were wowed; and we agreed with Bentley when the described the result as “an exquisite, harmonised, connected and luxurious space.”
Ferrari
Ferrari never disappoints, and the new Portofino’s muscular elegance and sculpted body certainly hit the spot in Frankfurt. This new V8 GT sports car is elegant and has a luxurious feel which reflects the heritage of its name sake, the town of Portofino. Sports car enthusiasts can drool at the powerful 600 cv which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a staggering 3.5 seconds. Powerful styling, improved efficiency and an improved infotainment system all combine to make this drop top highly desirable.
Lamborghini
We love Lamborghini, period! The Aventador S Roadster takes one of our most popular options for car hire and improves upon it. The V12 engine and staggering 740 HP in this new open top creates extreme power and with agile vehicle dynamics both passenger and driver can experience 350 km/h as part of the exhilarating drive experience. The exterior silhouette and design led interior matches up to the awesome performance making this supercar a classic of the future.
Aston Martin
Aston chose not to attend Frankfurt this year, but have released exciting details about their DB11 which comes with a 4.0 litre twin-turbo engine capable of producing 187 mph with the most fuel efficient powertrain currently available. Watch this space for more details as released.
