We Know When the New Top Gear Will Air!!

No, we don’t mean the Chris Evans version, we mean the new Amazon Prime version with Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond – dare we say the one people are really looking forward to?
It was always going to be tough, wasn’t it? After all those rumours – the arguments, the bullying, the inability to drive and talk to camera at the same time – the arrival of the 'new' Top Gear had been greeted with something akin to dread by fans of its previous incarnation. After Sunday night’s first episode, it seems as if fans’ fears had been thoroughly justified. The show was wooden, with little chemistry between the presenters and a noticeable absence of interesting car-related action. Segments included a UK vs US battle around Blackpool in Reliant Rialtos, Matt LeBlanc wrestling with an Ariel, and former German Top Gear presenter Sabine showing new presenter Rory Reid just why she has such a formidable racing reputation.
The presenters’ social media channels are also a great source of clues about what might be featured on their forthcoming programme. We already know, for example, that the show will feature a customised Mercedes, some spectacular sunny foreign locations and a potentially shocking crash that left Clarkson looking quite battered and bloody.
