What to Look out for at the Geneva Motor Show

Even if you're only reading reviews from the Geneva motor show, it's easy to get lost in the huge variety of cars, reports and interviews on offer. To make life easier, we've highlighted a few of the must-see cars for sports car fans at the prestigious event this year.

The Porsche Boxster 718 and the Cayman 718

It's not so much the facelift that's getting people excited about these models, but rather the new turbocharged flat-four engines they have under the bonnet. This is indicative of Porsche's general direction with their engines and we know many fans can't wait to see how they perform.

The Lotus Elise 250 Cup

This lightweight, track focused roadster is another Lotus classic, featuring motorsports-sourced suspension and braking components, a 240-hp 1.8-liter engine and spoilers that will give you more downforce than you know what to do with. This is a sports car for those who really want to drive.

The Morgan EV3

British manufacturer Morgan is exhibiting its brand new sports car, which is notable for being electric. Weighing just 500kg and with a surprisingly budget-friendly price tag, this may tempt you to reach for your wallet.

The Bugatti Chiron

This is a jaw-dropping car, even if you're not there to see it in person. Looking like a cross between a Bentley and a private jet, this 1500hp beast features a two-stage charging system and  fulfils the marque's ongoing commitment to producing the world's fastest cars. The price tag, however, is around £2 million and only 500 are being made - we can't imagine they'll hang around for  long!

The Lamborghini Centenario

Marking what would have been Ferruccio Lamborghini's 100th birthday, the Lamborghini Centenario is a strictly limited edition car that can do 0-62MPH in just 2.8 seconds. Weighing just 1,520kg, the car is an aerodynamic marvel that's powered by one of the marque's enormous V12 engines. Only 40 cars are being made - 20 coupe-style bodies and 20 roadster versions - and all have already been sold. Sorry!

Excellence as standard....that’s our Marque of Distinction
